September 29th is a big day for several reasons. First off, today is Josh Farro's birthday! So click HERE to visit his profile and leave a note for him.
Today also marks the 1 year anniversary of the release of brand new eyes. That was an incredibly busy day for Paramore - an interview and performance for KROQ at the Troubadour in Hollywood, a huge meet and greet for fans at Wal-Mart and the first show of their tour with Paper Route and The Swellers in Pomona.
Unfortunately, all of that took a big toll on Hayley's voice and she was unable to finish the show that night. But Paramore fans at the Fox Theater took the lead and handled the vocal duties while Josh, Zac, Taylor and Jeremy stayed on stage. What were you doing one year ago today?
¿Hace un año? Hace un año me hubiese gustado estar en Pomona, Pero el 29 de Septiembre de 2009, salía a las 11.00 hs. de I.P.C. Me tomé el 42 y me fui hasta Barrancas de Belgrano. Me caminé desde ahí hasta el Musimundo de Cabildo y me compré a $39.99 Brand New Eyes. Síp. El día del estreno, sin haberlo escuchado previamente. Por alguna razón: sabía que me iba a encantar. Me tomé el 63 en frente y me vine para casa. Escuché BNE mientras ponía a macerar las milanesas. Porque era martes.
Aaahhh... la emoción cuando tuve Brand New Eyes en mis manitas. Incomparable. Me sentí mejor incluso, que cuando me compré Three Cheers For Sweet Revenge. Y eso es mucho decir.
En fin: hoy también es de nuevo el cumpleaños de Joshie :)
Pero ahora es un hombre casado. Ay qué tierno ! Cumpliendo 23 añitos, y casado. Dios, estos chicos religiosos... otros que los Jonas. En fin, Joshie:
